Born in 1984 in San Carlos City, grew up in Isabela, and moved to Berlin in 2009, KCM is an emerging artist from the Philippines. She finished Bachelor of Interior Design at the University of the Philippines and worked as licensed Interior Designer in her homeland, designing furniture pieces, residential and commercial spaces and furniture showrooms. With her passion in art since childhood and first inspiration for landscape painting from the American painter Bob Ross, she changed her pursuit from drawing to painting when she moved to Berlin. Although she has no educational background in Fine Arts, she absorbed some art techniques through her interior- and architectural design and art studies at the university. She continued her art pursuit and progressed from landscape to abstract art to portrait.
